In September I had the greatest pleasure to capture a very special event!

The scene was set at the Middletons Hotel, York and C & P Event Management made the place look amazing! 

And so did Wendy, the bride to be, again,  with all her finishing touches and personal input to the decor.

And unlike the rest of us brides, Wendy was lucky and got to wear her beautiful gown for the second time!

So, it was time to celebrate again, this time in England with all of Wendy's close friends and family.

The ceremony was short and sweet, with Wendy's father walking her down the aisle and giving her away.

And Wendy's closest friends were able to be her Bridesmaids.

The Wedding Breakfast was delicious, I did get invited to sit with everyone and enjoy the meal thoroughly (perk of the job). During the meal, the guests were wowed by a magician. The amazing Mark Waddington entertained  all the friends and family.

His charm, wit and slight of hand magic was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone!

Lauren, Wendy's Chief Bridesmaid made the gorgeous wedding cake and her fiancé, Alister, did his bit as Bestman keeping Cem in check.

Wendy and Cem's love story conquered all; many months apart from each other over the years, many plane journeys and lots of long distance phone calls and emails. Not forgetting a wedding in Turkey where few of Wendy's family and friends got to attend and then a blessing, a year later,  in England which none of Cem's family and friends could attend.

But none of that mattered, they made it! Their long distance romance was complete.

And it was a joy to capture it for them!
