On Monday night a select few were invited to the VIP re-opening at The Alexandra Pub, Harrogate.
Re-branded to a new Nicholson's pub it will offer the very best of British Pub Food.
And a great range of drinks including quality real ales and gins.
Every inch of the new interior looks simply stunning after the refurbishment!
As a taster, the guests were offered a glass of Proseco, various hand pulled ales as well as Warner Edwards Rhubarb Gin.
As well as some miniature items from the menu including fish battered in Nicholson's very own ale and served with their triple cooked chips.
The entertainment was in keeping with The Alexandra's history from the second world war when it was requisitioned by the Ministry of Defence to house RAF Pilots serving the near by Air Ministry.
Claire Louise looked the part and sounded amazing with her WW2 tribute list including Vera Lynn to The Andrews Sisters.
The atmosphere was great, both staff and guests enjoying all The Alexandra has to offer.
The memorabilia, artefacts and images on display all around the pub contain many historical facts about the pub, Harrogate and the surrounding area.
This one, took me back to my own RAF days!
It was a real pleasure capturing the event for Nicholson's and to be honest I can't wait to go back to The Alexandra and try those triple cooked chips and hand battered cod the next time I am in Harrogate!
