So, what did you do on Sunday?

I had the great pleasure to be at the most stunning Aldwark Manor Hotel taking part in their very own Wedding Fair.

Now, just in case you missed it, or you were lucky enough to be there but didn't get all the details of all the other fabulous other suppliers, then hopefully this blog will help.

If you are getting married and are still looking for someone to help fulfil your wedding day dreams, then read on!

The venue looked lovely and the wedding team at the hotel were all on hand to help with any potential bride and grooms queries. Chantelle, Megan and all the staff made sure that the event went off without a hitch!

If you need to speak with them, give them a call on 01347 833939 and I am sure they will be able to help with any further details you need after Sunday.

Finishing Touches made sure that all the styling was beautiful!

I always have a wonderful time at Wedding Fairs, especially chatting with lots of other professionals within the business. My lovely neighbour on Sunday was Elaine from Bessie's Yorkshire Preserves.

I loved her mini jars of preserves for wedding favours and hearing about her own little empire.

What a wonderful idea and something a little different for your day!

It was also lovely to catch up with Anne from Silk Floral Art, who recently was voted Best Florist in the I Do Magazine Wedding Awards!

Julie MercerWedding Make-up

Julie from Julie Mercer Make-up was there. It is a few years since we worked a wedding together, but she recognised me instantly and was obviously having a great time talking with all the bride and grooms to be at Aldwark Manor.

The Hog and AppleHog Roasts

Food is always a highlight of any Wedding Fair and indeed any wedding for that matter!

And at Aldwark no-one was disappointed (including me!)

A Taste Of ItalyIce Cream Tricycle Hire

Firstly, there was the opportunity to try an amazing hog roast sandwich, followed by a delicious Italian ice cream. Then if you still had space you could really indulge with a marshmallow or two dipped in melted chocolate at the fountain.

My other neighbours on the day were the lovely ladies from The Bridal Affair and Curvy Bridal.

Their dresses looked stunning and if it were me getting married again, I know which one I would choose.

There were plenty of other suppliers there, from fireworks, videographers, photographers and the giant LOVE letters. It really was a 'one stop shop' for all your wedding day dreams!

Outside there was lots going on. Kings Wedding Cars Rolls Royce, looked stunning in front of the venue. An exquisite example of an option for your wedding car.

Then there was something new, like the Little Berry Bar serving their very own liqueurs or the VW Photobooth.

It was a joy to see The Flamingo bakers again and their cakes looked stunning. And yes, the little sample fairy cakes were tasty too!

Precious Bridal Bridal Wear

There was something for everyone including the men. TM Lewin were available to chat suits and options with the grooms and Precious Bridal had more dresses to wow the brides.

The display by The Wedding Stationery Co was extensive and unique. All their invites are elegant.

Mark Waddington kept all the visitors entertained with his close up magic, pulling hundreds of bunnies out of hands and turning burning playing cards into lollipops.

Last but no means least there was Dutch Nurseries, whose display was so well suited to the amazing Walshingham Suite.

And, that is about it.

It really was a lovely day, I had a blast! Talking to all the engaged couples looking for inspiration for their day and all the other suppliers. I left at the end of the day with a very big smile on my face.

Thank You Aldwark Manor for inviting me and for organising such a splendid event, I know from personal experience that you always throw a fabulous party!
