As one of my favourite hotels to capture weddings at, I was honoured to be invited to their very special showcase recently, when they revealed the transformation of the Crystal Suite.

And all I can say is WOW!

The new look, the subtle greys, mixed with the mirrors and chandeliers, a true modern feel. As a wedding venue in York, it now is one not to be missed and if you are planning your wedding, go and have a look.

With the help of Ambience Venue Styling and Limelight Wedding Trees over the top table, it looked beautiful.

 

 

 

No detail has been spared. The finishing touches all around the room and indeed throughout the hotel are modern, yet classic.

 

The ceremony room has had the same touches applied. With the deep colours on the walls, the mirrors and the clock, which I love, it truly is a gorgeous room in which to say 'I do'.

 

Recently, the Gin Bar has also had the decorators touch. The whole look is traditional and cosy, with a modern edge.

I obviously wasn't alone on the day. It was lovely to be surrounded by some great wedding suppliers. Ambience Stylings touches to both the ceremony room and Crystal Suite were spot on.

Limelight Trees had placed two of their trees at either end of the top table and their wedding arch on display looked lovely.

It was a pleasure to meet and speak with Suited N Booted.

 

And Caroline Couture Cakes were as gorgeous looking as they were tasting. I have to admit going back for more than one piece!

 

Finishing Touches were on hand to discuss flowers and chair covers with many of the bride and grooms to be.

And The Wedding Rooms finished off the day with some beautiful wedding dresses on display.

 

There are many hotels in and around York that I visit time and again and the Parsonage is one of my favourites. I always get a nice welcome and a drink when I need one.  I always think, if they can make time to grab me a cup of tea, then they can make time to look after their guests!

I love the photographic opportunities that present themselves to me at the Parsonage Hotel. It has gardens on three sides, a fountain, a great staircase and plenty of trees for shade on those hot summer days and all are within seconds of where the party's at. A perfect setting for all your wedding pictures.
