At this time of year, when things are starting to slow a little and the nights are drawing in, it is always nice to look back on some of the weddings I have been privileged to be part over the last 12 months.

I get to reflect on how fabulous my year has been and I always want to share some of the weddings with you, but choosing the best ones to feature is not easy!

This one however had to make the cut, for so many reasons. The couple were lovely to spend time with, their friends and family were so much fun and the venue was stylish and elegant. Everything they planned, looked truly wonderful. The colour scheme, the flowers, the dress, the cake it was all perfect and even the weather didn't disappoint!  For a Saturday in September it really was lovely meaning we even got outside onto the bar walls to capture that iconic view over York.

I had met Emma and Chris plenty of times before the wedding, so on the day itself it was like watching friends get married. 

And everything went off without a hitch, well apart from the Best man nearly burning the place down, that is!

It was such a lovely day, everything was amazing. Thank you again to Emma and Chris for choosing me to capture it for you!
