On a sunny day (hopefully they will be back again soon) Lucy and Chris tied the knot at their local church before heading off to celebrate at The Parsonage Hotel and I had the job of capturing their fabulous day!
It was a day full of love and family. There was a closeness at the wedding that was lovely to witness.
The ladies spent the morning getting ready at Chris and Lucy's house.
Now, the eagle eyed amongst you may have noticed that there were four bridesmaid dresses hanging up in the first picture, but there are only three bridesmaids in the one below. Emma was sadly missing, having given birth literally hours earlier.
Congratulations!
Emma, her husband and their new arrival did however, make an appearance at the wedding ceremony.
Chris and his Bestman, who also happened to be his Dad, enjoyed the sunshine before the ceremony.
The April sunshine was amazing, especially given our current rainy spell and the cherry blossom looked so beautiful.
After a wonderful ceremony, a confetti throw in the sunshine and a final kiss at the church it was time to head to The Parsonage.
The neutral colours in the newly decorated Crystal Suite meant that Lucy and Chris's colours looked stylish and classy. With gorgeous centre pieces and hessian and lace chair ties, the Parsonage was just perfect!
And Sweet Chic did a great job with the wedding cake.
After dinner, the Bride, Groom and I took a stroll a bit further around the hotel, capitalising on the lovely grounds of the Parsonage and the warm early evening sunshine.
Then it was time to party!
Undercovered made sure that sitting down was not an option. The entire wedding party loved the band, especially the Farther of the Bride who danced his wedding day socks off.
And then it was time for FIREWORKS!
It really was a wonderful day!
It was all about family and that made it so special. Both Dad's were key to the event, one was Bestman and the other was the very proud Father of the Bride.
And
It was all about surprises, wonderful, heartfelt surprises!
Emma and her new baby made a special trip to see the ceremony, there was also a live band for the evening entertainment. Lucy's father was over the moon, as he loves live music. Then it was all topped off with a full firework display.
Chris and Lucy finished off their photography package with this amazing album and matching USB.
